Made in Portugal from artisanal process Casafina's ceramics are handmade and hand-painted. It is normal to expect slight design and color variations from piece to piece. Earthenware is low-fired and has a tendency to "craze" (form miniscule lines) with repeated use. This crazing is the nature of earthenware products and does not have any significant effect on the ceramics.

Most terracotta/earthenware items are dishwasher safe, provided they are handled carefully as with any other handmade product. However, hand washing will prolong the life of the product. We do not recommend use in a microwave.
